Camp Wildwood has been Austin's premier nature camp for 15 years. Set on five wooded acres along Barton Creek, kids spend their days exploring, building, and discovering the natural world. Our experienced counselors (1:6 ratio) create an environment where kids develop confidence, resilience, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Our daughter came home every day glowing. She went from being scared of bugs to catching frogs. The counselors are incredible — patient, engaged, and genuinely caring. Already registered for next summer.
Best camp in Austin, hands down. My son has been going for 3 years and asks about it all winter. The creek activities are the highlight — there's nothing else like it in the city.
Great camp with wonderful staff. Only reason for 4 stars is pickup can be a bit chaotic on Fridays. Otherwise, couldn't recommend more highly — the outdoor programming is second to none.
